How do I read a listing before I install it?

Every listing opens with four rows: what it is, what it needs, what it puts on your machine, and what it costs. Start with "On your machine" — it is the short answer to how much of your computer this thing can touch.

Help I am stuck and I want somebody to unstick me.

  "On your machine" is the row that answers it. Some listings install nothing at all and only link you to the thing; some copy a folder of instructions your agent reads; some add a program your agent talks to. "What it needs" underneath says whether it also wants Node, Python, an account somewhere or a key you supply.
